Bubba Chinos expands into downtown

Bubba Chinos, the burrito chain started by Leonard Cordova, grandson of Stella Cordova, the late and legendary Chubby's founder, will open a new franchise location at 1361 Court Place next month.

"We're excited to cater to the downtown crowd. There aren't many lunch options over here," says franchise owner Kenneth Gomez. "We'll have TV's and free wifi and we plan on hosting some cool events. We'll also serve beer and wine."

Bubba Chinos has seen numerous openings and closings over the past two years; here's a complete list of open locations:

3900 South Wadsworth Boulevard and the original location at 160 North Federal Boulevard, both of which are still owned by Leonard Cordova.

Cordova has also done franchise deals at these locations:

1600 East Colfax Avenue
201 South Main Street, Brighton
3000 South Federal Boulevard
6400 West 20th Avenue
8807 1/2 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood

And the new location downtown, which Gomez hopes to open the first week of June.

Fuck bubba chinos and their 9 thousand stores they have opened in the past year. Dude must have gotten the worlds largest business loan on the planet because his stores aren't that busy and the food is average. Just because your fucking grandmother started Chubbys does not make you or your chile cheese frys "world famous". Half of these bubba chinos will be closed in a year or so unless some shit corporation like Yum Brands buys him out but doubt that's gonna happpen

There was work going on at the W. 38th Ave location last week.  Maybe they're not closed forever, after all.  Either way, I'd still rather have the Brickyard BBQ back.

Brickyard was the shit! And who the fuck needs bubba chinos when you have Tacos Jaliscos right next door. Thats why bubba chinos is closed because their shitty, wannabe green chili ain't shit and they can't compete with REAL mexican food! The 38th shop won't reopen and if it does it wont last purely because Tacos Jaliscos is far superior and the neighborhood is far to intelligent to fall for that shit...please bring in something else...

I noticed that to and was wondering if Bubba Chinos was reopening or something else was going into that location (hopefully).
