It's all about wine on this week's calendar

There are a handful of wine events on the calender this week, including three on Tuesday alone. While craft beer may be stealing the spotlight lately, you can never go wrong with the classics.

The Kitchen Denver

Monday, May 21:

Community Night at The Kitchen, 1530 16th Street in Denver, will highlight seafood from esteemed seafood purveyor and author Ingrid Bengis -- who will also be attending the dinner and answering questions. The Kitchen is one of the very few restaurants that Bengis supplies outside of Maine; call 303-623-3127 for more details.

Bar Louie has debuted a beverage menu featuring eight new cocktails and a revamped wine selection. And the chain will roll out the menu today with free drinks from 6 to 9 p.m. at all three metro locations: 8332 East 49th Avenue, 10661 Westminster Boulevard in Westminster, and 6911 South Vine Street in Littleton.
