The Denver FIVE dinner at the Village Cork, 1300 South Pearl Street, sold out over the weekend and there's no waiting list, but there are many other events on the culinary calendar this week, including a visit from a legendary barman tonight.

The Bitter Bar, 835 Walnut Street in Boulder, is hosting "On the Town" at 8 p.m. tonight. Join award-winning mixologist and author Dale DeGroff for an evening of storytelling, cocktails and music from the Gypsy Swing Revue. Tuesday, June 12:
The Taste of Elegance Food and Beer Competition takes place this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Omni Interlocken Resort, 500 Interlocken Boulevard in Broomfield. Local chefs will create dishes inspired by the the gold and silver medal-winning beers from the Denver International Beer Fest. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.
