Lovely Confections reopens as Church of Cupcakes
After closing her groundbreaking cupcake spot for a few days of renovation, Porche Lovely has resurrected Lovely Confections,1489 Steele Street, as the Church of Cupcakes -- a religious-themed altar to the almighty cupcake.
Here's a peek at the redesigned space:
The Ten Commandments of the Church of Cupcakes.
Church of Cupcakes features a colorful new paint job, glitter floors, cupcake angels hanging from the ceiling, and a Foosball table.
Customers are encouraged to take photos in the "confectional" booth.
Church of Cupcakes also has scripture chalkboards in the restrooms.
Church of Cupcakes is open for service Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the Facebook page for more information.
