Photos: Happy birthday to Vesta Dipping Grill
"We've done dipped for fifteen years."
A scene from the kitchen at Vesta last night.
Vesta Dipping Grill celebrated fifteen years of dipping in LoDo last night with a six-course feast and fundraiser benefiting the nonprofit LoDo Cares. Owner Josh Wolkon invited former Vesta chefs Tyler Skrivanek of Duo, James Rugile of Mizuna, Wade Kirwan of Adrift, Dillon Maddox of Solera, Drew Hardin of Lola and Brandon Biederman of Steuben's to create a menu for the fun-filled reunion. Here's a recap of the food, and the revelry, courtesy of Lori Midson, who captured these photos.

Harissa chicken drumette, heirloom tomato, orange and celery leaf salad, courtesy of Brandon Biederman.

A collaboration from Brandon Foster and Dillon Maddox: Lemongrass poached lobster, fennel, Asian pear, sesame chili cashews with ginger Yuzu syrup.

James Rugile prepared ricotta gnudi with wild mushrooms, English peas and a mache salad.

Cajun grilled prawns, corn grits, creole mustard greens and red-eye bacon syrup from Wade Kirwan.

Vesta's Matt Selby and Kenny Turk teamed up for the fourth course -- candied fennel lamb loin with creme fraiche, peach panzanella and a Charmoula sauce created by Drew Hardin.

Vesta owner Josh Wolkon thanks the crowd for supporting Vesta for fifteen years.
And it wouldn't be a proper party without a little nudity, no? Some Vesta regulars who are into burlesque entertained the crowd.
