Tea mixology and more at Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse's Rocky Mountain Tea Festival
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse's thirteenth annual Rocky Mountain Tea Festival poured out the fun for both adults and kids this past weekend, including such yearly favorites as the children's tea party and chef-owner Lenny Martinelli's cooking with tea workshop, as well as a brand-new -- and delicious -- tea and cocktails class. The two-day festival allows people to "connect one on one with leaders in the tea industry, taste exceptional teas, and enjoy a weekend of celebrating one of nature's most prized gifts," according to Teahouse co-owner Sara Martinelli.

At the Tea Bazaar, booths offered tastings and sales of premium teas, tea ware and other tea-related goods.
Teahouse general manager Kasi Tenborg demonstrated the art of mixology, complete with unique tea-infused cocktails that have proven popular on the Teahouse's drink menu. Tenborg served up delicious drinks including an Orange Blossom Mojito, Rainforest Downpour and Orange Whiskey Ginger alongside the Teahouse's delicious Indian Samosas (pictured above) and Philippine Lumpia Egg Rolls.
