The interior of Ace Eat Serve -- the highly-anticipated ping-pong hall, restaurant and bar that will open at 501 East 17th Avenue on Wednesday -- is one of the most uniquely designed spaces in the city. Xan Creative, the design firm responsible for the look, has documented Ace's construction on its website, most recently with this video of re-purposed airplane parts.

Xan partnered with local furniture makers, Fin Art, for the project. The custom furniture company -- which was founded by childhood friends Rob McGowan and Ben Olson -- sources a variety of building materials from scrap yards for its modern pieces, which can be seen throughout town at places like Linger, Sputnik, Fancy Tiger Clothing and Buffalo Exchange.
