The 44th annual Palisade Peach Festival starts today on the Western Slope -- four days of festivities including peach-eating contests, a bike-and-kayak race, pop-up dinners in the orchards and an ice cream social tonight with live music. Visit the website for a full schedule.

The Art and Ale Brew Festival goes down from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight at the Wildlife Experience Museum, 10035 South Peoria Street in Parker. Attendees can sample beers from over thirty local breweries and food from local restaurants while exploring the galleries and exhibits of the museum -- and live music from Flock of Beagles will cap off the night.
