It's a quintessential Colorado week on the culinary calendar, with lots of local beer and wine, plenty of excuses to chill outside -- and a bike race.

Monday, August 20:
It's National Lemonade Day! And California Pizza Kitchen is celebrating by donating 100 percent of lemonade sales from its six Colorado locations to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation -- a national nonprofit started by four-year-old Alexandra Scott (1996-2004) that raises funds for cancer research. The namesake chain will host the fundraiser through Friday, August 24; visit Alex's website for more info.
Tuesday, August 21:
Dad and Dudes Breweria, 6730 South Cornerstar Way in Aurora, will allow Great Divide Brewery to take over its taps today at 5 p.m. Look for standard GD selections as well as some seasonal surprises; call 303-400-5699 for details.
