Although Japoix has closed, leaving a black hole of a space that also swallowed up Nine75, there are new signs of life in the Beauvallon building -- and, in fact, all along the 1000 block of Lincoln Street.
DiFranco's, an Italian deli, opened in the Beauvallon in May; it was soon joined by another Italian joint, Attivo Pizza & Subs (which moved from its longtime home on Ninth Avenue) and a coffee shop, Drip.
