Moral of the story: Do not order tacos -- at least these tacos -- at a joint renowned for its burgers. Lesson learned.

Lori, what's with all of the bad food you've been eating lately? Seems like all of the recent "Guess where I'm eating..." segments have been about  "what not to eat"

No guess on the location, but yikes, hasn't anyone in the kitchen actually eaten a taco before? Black olives are one of the absolute worst thing you can put on a taco.

 You're right.  A real Mexican taco has radish slices and no olive slices.

 @steveville I don't know whether it's real or not, but canned black olives suck - even if every Mexican in the world put them on their tacos.

Then I guess that Mexican tacos have changed.  I was on holiday there two years ago and the tacos are different than they are in Denver The eats in Mexico are great!  There was no "green chili" and all that crap.  Incidentally, that trip wasn't my first trip to Mexico.

 @steveville I meant real as in "real Mexican taco," not "real olives." Radish slices or olives don't make the taco any more or less "real Mexican."

Canned olives are actually real olives, but so are any other vegetable that are available in cans, and they all suck.  I like olives from the olive bar in the supermarket, but they still don't belong on tacos.
