Rockbar closed its doors after last call on Saturday night -- after an epic party full of costumed customers. After more than six years, the hipster hangout -- whose liquor-license renewal was denied -- rang out its final night in style, with hundreds of patrons lining up outside for a spot at the party.Continue reading for photos of Rockbar's last hurrah.

Now that Rockbar is closed, hopefully the real estate will be developed into something all the neighbors will find useful... Such as a 24/7 Wal Mart.

 

A Wal Mart in place of Rockbar would be karma for all the NIMBYists who bitched about Rockbar. Instead of hipsters peeing in the NIMBYist's yards at 2AM on weekends, hobos on meth will have diarrhea in their yards 7 days a week.

 @steveville Yeah, I was getting really tired of having fun. I can't wait until a place with no character, like Bar Louie or the "East Colfax Tavern," opens in Rockbar's place.

 @Guest  @steveville Place was a dump, but it's a shame to see a local bar go under - even if it was Rockbar. I'm not losing any sleep though, there's still plenty of good places left.
