Where to drink on Thanksgiving in Denver
There's no shame in giving thanks at the bar as opposed to the table, or in taking a break from the family to catch a quick buzz -- which is why many local watering holes will be open on Thanksgiving. The Fainting Goat, 846 Broadway, opens its doors at 5 p.m.. Fair warning: the pub will be closed on Friday.
Wyman's No. 5, 2033 East 13th Avenue, opens at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow.
Highland Tavern, 3400 Navajo Street, opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The kitchen will be closed, but football will be on TV.
