Wine, beer, bison and benefits on this week's calendar

The 8th Annual Denver International Wine Festival will uncork at the Grand Hyatt Denver this Wednesday, and will pouring into Saturday, November 10. The event will overflow with educational seminars, culinary pairings and a selection of more than 400 wines; check the website for a full schedule of events.

Monday, November 5:

It's Movember at local Larkburger locations. Each customer who becomes part of the team to grow mustaches and raise awareness for men's health will receive a Burger on Us card, and will be entered weekly into a raffle for gift cards; check the team's website for for information.

Project Angel Heart's Pie in the Sky fundraiser campaign is under way and runs until November 15. The annual pie sale benefits the nonprofit's efforts to deliver nutritious meals to those in need. Visit the website for more information on how to participate.
