What a gift to the neighborhood Pasquini's is. Absolutely hip and eclectic they did not miss a thoughtful detail!! The chicken parm was fabulous!! Way to go!!

Patty or Lori, I’m begging you. Please hire Grandma P. or whoever is posting these epic reviews of the new Pasquini’s. As informative as Jenn’s review of Bang Bang shrimp down in Ken Caryl Ranch is, Grandma P.’s post-menopausal low down on Denver’s “not buttoned-up, eclectic, misfit, family-friendly, super happening bar scene is…..well….my cowbell. I got a fever, and the only prescription is go-to-guide for joints whose the energy is only exceeded by the excellence of their bagged salad, the warmth of the owners, an exterior façade that looks like Roger Waters vomited Mardi Gras on a set from The Wall. Please. Please. Please.

Thanks Uncle Renzo, Aunty K, and cousins Tony and Tony…..sorry you got lost on this side of town. Good call in adding the names of the surrounding restaurants….. I think everyone bought it. They all sound like real reviews to me. Can you copy and paste those on yelp under different names? Thanks. We loved our experience at the new Pasquini's. Food was delicious, design is beautifully eclectic and, as always, the family-friendly atmosphere is very welcoming. I happen to love the outside of the building and think it fits right in! No detail in this restaurant has been missed. Yum!

What a fabulous addition to Denver! I felt so welcomed by the waitstaff and the owners. The energy here is almost as incredible as the food, which is amazing. It's refreshing to dine in a new restaurant that's thinking outside the box a bit and not so buttoned up like many new Denver establishments.

Wonderful spirit - a great addition to Uptown's eclectic mix of dining options. Ace, Steuben's, Olivea. This fits right in as another misfit. I love that about Denver. If you want plain vanilla, drive your SUV to the 'burbs. Pasquini's does it again - with style. Quirky, bold and delicious.

The inside is actually pretty cool-it has a fun, friendly feel and the upstairs is very open. Not to mention that the food is absolutely excellent! Great job Tony Pasquini in creating another fabulous restaurant choice for East Denver!

It's a great space and building. The colors are not actual as bright as the Westword pictures make them out to be. The bar is beautiful. Any of you commenting professional Architects? Just wondering.

@JimRome Hi Jim, you are exactly right about free speech. It includes painting a building whatever color you want it to be. It's about expressing your individualism without prosecution. Again, I ask you, what sort of responsibility as a society do we have with the internet medium & what we teach our kids on how to use it?

It's up to you to decide if you want to talk to the Pasquini's or not. I could look up the restaurants # on the internet for you, but I think you are very capable of doing that on your own.

@sasha.breeze.e Oh no, I would be more than happy to share my opinions with Tony in person on my thoughts about his paint job, at the same time he has every right to paint his building whatever the heck he wants because it is his building. There has been zero personal attack on him/ the restaurant/ anything other than the fact it looks like my 3 year old daughter was the interior decorator (much more apropos than architect). The great thing about free speech is it applies to internet message boards, but if you would like me to personally call Tony (and I believe you have his information) just leave me his number.

@JimRome The comments I'm making could have been for any number of restaurants. Just so happens I picked Pasquini's. I like Pasquini's yes. I've been eating at the location on Broadway since the early 90's. I want them to do well.

I don't have the need to go around making anonymous comments on various restaurants on Westword.

My question is really, is it okay to leave comments anonymously if you aren't willing to say them in front of a person or business?

Do you have kids? What would you say to a kid that it's okay? Is it responsible behavior? What sort of responsibilities do we have as a society with the internet medium?

@sasha.breeze.e Yes I would. It is hideous. It is a shame some of their friends/ employees/ strangers walking by on the street did not say anything to them. The building is a blight. I have nothing against Pasquinis either. I generally find their food to be good. But come on, It looks like a set piece from a Tim Burton movie.

And as far as your being down on the internet for being able to leave anonymous comments... It seems if you click your profile you ONLY have commented on Pasquini's and Tony P's leaving me kinda to question your motives.

The inside looks like a cross between a cupcake shop and a Wash Park hair salon. Can I get a shave with that pasta? Nice bar though. Too bad it's in the middle of a bouncy castle.
