Photos: Last call at the original Heidi's in Highland

The original location of Heidi's Brooklyn Deli closes at 3 p.m. today, vacating the century-old building at 3130 Lowell Boulevard where it opened back in 1996. Owners Heidi and Steve Naples blame the closing on a dispute with the landlord; they say they're looking for another spot in the neighborhood.

Westword's Elyse Mitchell stopped by the deli for lunch on its last day, and grabbed some photos to serve as a reminder of the shop's almost sixteen-year run in the heart of Highland.
