Culinary Calendar: Hot chocolate, beer, benefits and Scandinavian cuisine
Just in time for cold weather, the Original Pancake House is offering free hot chocolate for the holidays at all of its locations. The chain has two in Colorado: at 8000 East Belleview Avenue in Englewood, and at 5900 South University Boulevard in Littleton. The deal runs through Friday, December 14.

Monday, December 10:
Marlowe's, 501 16th Street, is hosting a wine-tasting benefit for the Denver VOICE this evening. Tickets are $25; call 303-595-3700 for reservations.
La Tour, 122 East Meadow Drive in Vail, is celebrating the ski town's fiftieth anniversary by offering 50 percent off all entries. The deal ends on Saturday, December 15; call 970-476-4403 for more information.
