Places to sit and sip for the new year:

Al Lado, 1610 Little Raven Street, is offering "The Whole Shebang": the restaurant's entire tapas menu and a magnum of sparkling, red or white wine for $240; call 303-572-3000 for details.

ChoLon, 1555 Blake Street, is offering a special four-course, family-style menu that includes additional tastes, sides and a glass of champagne. Call 303-353-5223 for reservations.

EDGE Restaurant & Bar, 1111 14th Street, is offering two prix fixe dinners. One is three-course and costs $75; the second costs $125 and includes a four-course menu, a champagne toast and entrance to Edge's Futuristic Ball. 1515 Restaurant, 1515 Market Street is toasting the new year with a special three-course menu inspired by the cuisine of famed chef Auguste Escoffier.
