Photos: Gatsby's opens in the former Wine Loft space in LoDo

I dont knoiw anything about cool retro print. Cheap happy hour, and I loved the Mac and Cheese (in the photo).

This Photography is awful. Please get your photographer a better camera or teach them how to use the flash... 

We went to Gatsby's this weekend. It is an embarrassment of a bar. We walked in and the hostess barely looked up from her phone to greet us. The bartenders seemed clueless. Hospitality was non-existent. The cocktail menu looks like it was written in the late eighties, but not in a cool retro sort of way, more like a lame and tired sort of way. The wine list is a leftover from the Wine Loft, hit or miss. I think there is food... but our bar service was so bad (1 guy and two scantily clad women behind the bar, pin-balling and looking lost) that we never would have known. The music, seemed as if it was coming from a small stereo in the corner of the room, not a full sound system. Gatsby's is anything but a cool cocktail lounge as the name and press suggest. It's just a nightclub with dark wood and lounges. The lack of attention to detail is astounding. They may have hurried to get open before new years, so the concept is incomplete, but first impresssions are a bitch...that is why you should work those things out BEFORE you open. Oh, and on the way out the hostess did not look up from her phone

I like these restaurant previews.

They're great for showing us new places we might want to try.

So....it's the Wine Loft with a new name?  Looks EXACTLY the same only has TERRIBLE staff...

Now you have bimbos behind the bar and a coked up owner.
