Later this morning we'll post our Restaurant Roll Call for December on Cafe Society -- a compendium of all the openings and closings on the Denver dining scene over the last thirty days. One of the more notable closings was Tossa, a fast-casual Italian concept created by the folks by Smashburger, which has been such a smash. But Tossa? Not so much.

- Tossa, a concept cooked up by Smashburger, closes its first (and only) location
- Five restaurants that both opened and closed in 2012...and a bonus revival

Says Steveville:

There are about three or four hundred pizza joints in the Denver area that need to be CLOSED.

What are the restaurants that you were sorry to see go in 2012? Which ones would you be happy to say so long to in 2013? Post your thoughts below.

I would love to be able to say "Good Riddance" to Twin Peaks, Tilted Kilt, Earl's, Hooters and the rest of the so-called "breastaurant" chains.
