Brendan's now installed at 404 Broadway
The space at 404 Broadway has been in a state of flux for over a year. After a sixty-year run as Jerry Feld's Club 404, it changed hands in December 2011 and reopened in February as the Denver Wheel Club 404, a bike-themed bar that rolled to a halt in November. In the meantime, though, the drinks kept flowing while new proprietor Kevin Geraghty worked to turn the place into Brendan's, a reincarnated version of the legendary LoDo blues bar of the same name.
The sign's the same, but 404 Broadway is now officially Brendan's.

The space is now officially operating as Brendan's, but Geraghty is still working on a few changes -- mainly to the menu, he says. The interior will get a slight makeover, and there will be live music offered there soon.
The iconic sign, however, will remain untouched.
