Cured has opened a new "micro-grocery" store in its space at 1825 Pearl Street in Boulder. The Larder is now selling such essential items as bacon, eggs, milk and local greens. "It was something we wanted to do since we originally opened," says Will Frischkorn, who owns the specialty cheese shop with his wife, Coral. "We wanted to create a neighborhood market, and after getting feedback from customers and getting some more funds, we were able to add another component to the business."

"We're also planning to add more to our lunch and prepared food options," adds Frischkorn. "And we definitely want to provide local, seasonal veggies whenever possible. We're also working on a catering and delivery service."

The shop also hosts a free wine tasting every Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.; call the shop at 720-389-8096, or visit the Facebook page for more updates.
