Reader: Parisi should update its service model as well as its space
Several restaurateurs apparently made new year's resolutions to give their places a facelift. After more than a decade holding down a prime corner in Larimer Square, Tamayo has closed for a major renovation of both the space and the menu. The original Jelly is only two years old, but it's getting an upgrade, too. And Parisi, an institution in northwest Denver, has closed for a several-week renovation.

Oh please for all things holy, please tell us that Parisi is getting rid of their ridiculous system of ordering at the counter prior to getting a table.That system may be fine at a standard sandwich joint but Parisi can be so much more. Wine sales will quadruple if they go to a waiter system.
