Guy Fieri is back in town, Lori Midson reports, visiting establishments ranging from the Denver Biscuit Company to Prohibition to the Highland Tavern for his show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives .

I can't stand the triple-D-bag, but there is no arguing that his visits provide a huge boost for the economic situation of the small restaurants that end up on his show. For that reason, and that reason alone, I'll welcome him back to Denver and even into my neighborhood... just don't come back for at least another 2-3 years.

I'm annoyed by Fieri as much as the next guy, but his show has featured some great places.  I'm not gonna knock a place just because he likes it - if it looks good on the show, then go and make your own decision.   


Changing the show to the Quadruple "D"  Diners, DriveThrus, Dives - And Dispenseries!  You'd have to be way high to give a shit about what this dude thinks is worthwhile!!


I always thought the Denver Biscuit Company sucked. Now I know it does.
