@foodcrazy "Jesus? From las Tortugas? Cuz ur place looks just like it!!
Tortas in a bolillo?? No mames!! Tortas are served on aTelera! I guess we have the New Mexican Subway!!!
No way it makes it past year end.
@Fletcherneedsajob I would have been happy to, save for the fact that when I was shooting the space last week, the kitchen wasn't open -- nor was the restaurant. They had chips and salsa and nothing more.
You couldn't take one photo of an actual sandwich???
1. Seems a bit crazy to open a casual Mexican place next to Machete, a successful casual Mexican place.2. Seems a bit crazy to offer only tortas on the menu in Cherry Creek North, the gluten free capital of Denver.
Otherwise, sounds good to me even though I wouldn't have chosen that location for that concept.
Calm down, for Jesus' sake. It's just that a telera roll is not as hearty as bolillo.
@LoriMidsonCafeSociety Makes sense then. I thought maybe you had gone in this weekend when they were open.
I guess since Alex Gurevich has owned and/or run more restaurants than most people have owned shirts, he can take the risk.
