Erbert & Gerbert's Sandwich Shop slings subs in LoDo

Erbert & Gerbert, a quirky, Wisconsin-based sandwich chain, opened last month at 1675 Larimer Street. The sub shop is known for its uniquely named menu items, including the Erupter (buffalo chicken and blue cheese), the Girf (turkey and ham) and the Bornk (tuna salad).

Westword's Danielle Lirette brought back these photos of the Erbert & Gerbert crew at work.

There used to be an Erbert and Gerbert on Belleview in Greenwood Village.  Didn't strike me as anything special.

@TheJeff Maybe you should try the place d-bag instead of jumping to conclusions. Besides, they have changed some of their menu since then.

@TheGosch @TheJeff That is a compelling argument, but I have already "tried the place" in its earlier location.  I'm not persuaded that a national chain sub shop warrants repeated visits to convince me that whatever changes corporate has made to the menu are worth my business. 

I do hope that the salary and benefits they offer you are satisfactory.
