I thought the new location was supposed to have Al Pastor. If not I'll be really disappointed because I was looking forward to that. Pinche Tacos is great! Can't wait to hit up the new spot.
@morgan.ruben Only in Mexican Spanish. To Spanish speakers from other countries (including Spain), it is not a curse word.
@freetime @morgan.ruben A fairly useless distinction in this case. The Taco is a traditional Mexican dish. It's perfectly reasonable to assume that the parlance is derived from Mexican Spanish.
I'm surprised a tex mex themed bar is opening in the old Hiedi's location at 32nd and Lowell. I think that niche has been filled.

@chuckroast did you see the last photo? looks nothing like the old heidi's location and google maps says the same.
@joey murdah @chuckroast My bad, I guess I didn't express my thought very well. I'm psyched for Pinche Tacos to open. You'll find me there often. It's only a few blocks from my house. Now that we have Pinche Tacos and El Camino, I really don't think the neighborhood needs The Matador, a tex mex / tequilla bar, slated to open in the old Heidi Deli space in May, on the corner of 32nd and Lowell. Nothing against the folks behind The Matador, but that stretch of 32nd Ave should have plenty of tequila and tacos once Pinche Tacos opens.

@chuckroast Have you been to Pinche Tacos? Their location in City Park is always packed even amongst an array of mexican joints on Colfax. I don't think I'd call them tex mex either. I think they'll do rather well there.
