Photos: Gather mixes craft cocktails inspired by local start-ups
Not every work environment has cocktails on-site, but if your office is at Galvanize, that's one of the amenities.

Galvanize, the startup-tech common workspace in the Golden Triangle, has Gather to thank for that. Gather, the on-site cafe overseen by ChoLon chef-owner Lon Symensma, is mixing up cocktails inspired by the companies that rent space Galvanize. Galvanizers, as they're called, range from the espresso infused Cafe Noir to the Margs for Rent margarita. Available on weekdays until 9 p.m., the Galvanizers have inspired some workers to linger long after quitting time.

"It's literally the best margarita I've had in my life," says Kevin McInerney, Active Junky founder and CEO, who has an office at Galvanize.
The Margs for Rent.
The margarita? Margs for Rent. Named for rentbits, the rental marketing management company, Margs for Rent may convince you to sign a lease. A conspicuous wood barrel at the end of Gather's bar holds ten cases of continually aging Dolce Vida Blanco Tequila, the drink's first ingredient. Amaretto and lime are added, along with a sprinkle of Fresno chile that balances with the salt on the rim but leaves a slight kick in your mouth.
The newest edition to the menu, the Cafe Noir combines Nine Plus espresso, Baileys and Grand Marnier. Almost a liquid tiramisu, the froth-topped coffee cocktail could perk up any morning meeting.

Biselli's Gin Winner is an ode to Mike Biselli, co-founder of Medpassage.com, an e-commerce platform for the medical-implant industry. Biselli is the former Stanford kicker who made the game-winning field goal over Michigan in 1999. An elegant drink combining Roundhouse gin, cucumber, mint and lemon, his namesake drink is the bar's most popular Galvanizer.
