Hideaway Steakhouse.
Steve Progar posted this note on Facebook earlier today: "After a successful 12 years in partnership at Abrusci's, I've taken on a new challenge at the Hideaway Steakhouse. Great place, great food, great people! Hope to see you all come in! Thanks for all the memories at Abrusci's!"

But if you're going to come in, remember that the Hideaway Steakhouse is located in Westminster, where it opened two years ago with Chris Cina as chef (he's now with the Wynkoop-Breckenridge group). Don't confuse it with Hideaway Kitchen & Bar, which opened last fall in Genesee.

Progar, a chef, had been in partnership with his brother; the pair opened the original Abrusci's in Wheat Ridge, then added a second restaurant Abrusci's in the spot at 300 Fillmore that had been Campo di Fiori.

But Steve Progar says that "the family business ran its course" and it was time to move on. And so he landed at the Hideaway Steakhouse at the start of the week -- just as the Denver Restaurant Week crowds descended. "We're muddling through $52.80 now," he says, "but after that, we'll make some changes to the menu."

Look for "fresh, fun ideas" in a month or so -- just in time for this Hideaway's second birthday celebration.
