After close to a year in the works, Cana Wine Bar finally opened last month at 2554 South Broadway, in what used to be a day spa. The bistro offers assorted cheese and charcuterie plates in addition to wine, spirits and beer. Flip the page for a first look at the casual spot.

Cana Wine Bar is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 to 11:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Can't wait to go, but I worry for them that the price point they've targeted is a little high for the neighborhood right now, and their happy hours are oddly scheduled, which won't help with the foot traffic they'll need to get going.  Fingers crossed they make it though
