Earlier this year, in January, Food Network walking caricature Guy Fieri and his crew were in Denver, shooting footage at various local restaurants for upcoming shout-outs on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, now in its fourteenth season -- and still as inexplicably popular as ever.

While he was cruising around the Mile High City in his 1968 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible, which, by the way is transported by trailer from city to city, he shot footage at the Denver Biscuit Company, Highland Tavern, Hops & Pie, Prohibition, A Taste of Home Cooking and CoraFaye's Cafe, chef-owner Priscilla Smith's straight-from-the-south shrine to soul-food on Colorado Boulevard -- and tonight, CoraFaye's will be one of the three featured restaurants on Fieri's "Timeless Editions" episode, where he feasts on Jamaican jerk chicken in Philadelphia, sausage in Scottsdale, Arizona and gravy-smothered rabbit, fried chicken, pork neck bones, collard greens, cabbage, hush puppies and chitlins at Smith's homage to home cooking.

The episode airs tonight at 8 p.m., and while CoraFaye's is closed on Monday, you can bet your biscuits that the joint will be hopping tomorrow.

By the way, at 7:30 p.m., just prior to the CoraFaye's segment, Denver is also ballyhooed on Fieri's "Southern Flavor" episode, which was filmed in 2011 and pimps the peach cobbler, gumbo and cornbread from Bang!.

CoraFaye's has the most amazing peach cobbler, it tastes like heaven! The staff are incredibly nice and the owner actually comes around and talks with her guests to make sure everyone's enjoying everything. The interior is cute too. I have nothing but praise for them, they make delicious food and offer genuine hospitality to their customers.
