Grab a seat on the patio of what could be the best new restaurant in town.
Gretchen Kurtz may be an introvert, but she has no problem sharing her feelings about Beast + Bottle in her rave review of the restaurant that brother-sister duo Paul and Aileen Reilly opened this spring in Uptown. It took over the former home of Olivea, one of the best restaurants in town when it closed in January -- but Beast + Bottle is one hell of a consolation prize. In fact, it could be the best new restaurant of 2013...

Says Philo99:

There have been a lot of "Farm to Table" restaurants that have opened in Denver the last year and to me, Beast + Bottle is the only one worth a damn. I've been to Beast + Bottle three times since they opened and I have been blown away every time. They don't have the hipster cocktail scene that some of the other new establishments tout, but they more than make up for it with their superior food.

Beast and Bottle is hands down the best new restaurant for 2013.

There are almost five more months in 2013 -- but is Beast + Bottle now in the lead for Best New Restaurant of 2013? (Last year, Uncle took the Best New Restaurant title.) Put your thoughts on Beast + Bottle -- or your nominations for other top contenders -- in the comments section below.

The only thing I disagree with is the cocktail part. Beast and Bottle has some of the best and friendliest bartenders in town who are making some great cocktails. I don't know if they are hipster cocktails or not, but they don't make you feel like you need to genuflect and kiss their feet to get a seat at the bar and some decent service (like some places in town).

@Mantonat"but they don't make you feel like you need to genuflect and kiss their feet to get a seat at the bar and some decent service (like some places in town)."

I think that was the point I was trying to make. You just said it better.
