Tony's Market reopens its restaurant as Tony's Burgers

After closing its bistro in January for a slight remodel and big revisioning, Tony's Market has reopened the dining area at the front of the store with a new concept: Tony's Burger, a sit-down spot featuring burgers, pizzas and salads.

Diners still go to the counter to order their meals, which are delivered to the table. Options include 100 percent grass-fed beef, Wagyu beef, Red Bird Farms chicken or Colorado free-range bison burgers (the meat is locally raised, and ground in-house daily); veggie burgers are available upon request. Pizza was popular at the original incarnation, and a half-dozen versions are still available. So are a half-dozen salads, and kids' meal options.

For adults, the bar still serves beer on tap and in bottles, as well a selection of wines by the glass. (As an added bonus, you can grab a beer or glass of wine to enjoy while you shop -- the liquor license at Tony's extends throughout the store.)

Tony's Burgers is now open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; visit the website to view the new menu. And don't miss this deal: After 4 p.m. and all day Saturday, you can get a Classic Burger and a draft beer for just $5.98.

I agree.  Even the items on the new menu are mediocre.
