Guess where I'm eating jalapeno-spiked skillet cornbread?

Skillet-cooked cornbread has always been one of my guilty pleasures, and I enjoy it even more when it's specked with jalapeños and drizzled with a bit of butter, but this cornbread was a disappointment, its interior too dry and devoid of sweetness, its exterior absent of that essential crustiness.

Can you guess where I'm eating?

I'm moving to Denver in April and the one question I failed to ask about Denver is, "How's the food?". I'm from Charleston SC where the food is the best in the world. Was going to move to Portland and the food there SUCKS! Does Denver do better? I'm talking flavor, not fat! If you can order it off a Mexican menu saying, "Combo #10", that's not real food.

@Merréll Barry O'Brian My guess is that you're going to hate Denver. There's good food everywhere  - if you couldn't find it in Portland, you're not going to find it here.

@Jake Ringstrom Yep! The Tavern Wash Park is the right answer.
