The former Funtastic Fun on South Broadway.
Give a final farewell to the former Nathan's Funtastic Fun at 3085 South Broadway. The one-time indoor amusement park in Englewood is slated to become a 4,580 square-foot Chick-Fil-A quick-service restaurant with drive-thru and outdoor seating -- and that means the existing building will be demolished. If that ball room could talk!

Two single family homes along South Acoma Street would be removed to make room for parking and access; the plans are currently being considered by Englewood's Planning and Zoning Committee.

Funtastic Fun eventually morphed into Lollipop Park; the original location on South Broadway closed in spring 201, but a Lollipop Park is still open in Aurora at 6901 South Peoria Street.

That's the best they could do with that space? I've been watching it for years hoping something cool would move in. Oh well. Any updates on the Mexican place that's taking over that cool pond-side spot near Hampden and Broadway in the little strip mall by Beirut Grill?
