Beer calendar: Colorado's craft breweries toast new beers and a new year

Categories: Beer Man

The last twelve months have been amazing ones for Colorado's craft brewers, both old and new, and 2014 is shaping up to be even better. Two highly-anticipated brewpubs have already announced that they will open in the first month of the new year. Denver's Lowdown Brewery + Kitchen, the brainchild of two former Rock Bottom brewmasters, has set a tentative date of January 28; the spot, at Eighth Avenue and Lincoln, will serve pizza, paninis, soups and salads. Meanwhile, The Post Brewing, which will dish out chicken and craft beers in Lafayette, also says it will open in January; The Post is owned by the Big Red F Group and boasts former Dogfish Head brewmaster Bryan Selders.
