Super Bowl Sunday is quickly approaching, and Denver is abuzz with optimistic anticipation. For those who don't plan on watching the game at home, there are plenty of options around town. Many of Denver's favorite bars are throwing viewing parties or serving up specials to make the big game even more exciting. From orange beers to free Jell-o shots, if you're planning on heading out this Sunday, here are some more of the best deals in town.

Cherry Cricket
A staple in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood, the Cherry Cricket will be open for regular business hours on game day (11 a.m. to 2 a.m.) and will be serving up food and drink specials, including orange Coors Light on tap.

Copper Kettle Brewing
Starting around kickoff, Copper Kettle will be giving away free pizza on Super Bowl Sunday. They'll have multiple options available, but once it's gone, it's gone.

EDGE Restaurant and Bar
Take the edge off with $3 drafts and $12 pitchers at EDGE Restaurant and Bar. EDGE will also be running half off selected appetizers on Super Bowl Sunday.

Epernay
Epernay has four screens on which to watch the game, including a 175-inch projection screen with theater-style seating. They will be serving "high-end" bar food in addition to their regular menu.

Ernie's Bar and Pizza
Ernie's Bar and Pizza will be slinging pizzas all Sunday. They're offering 2-for-1 ten-inch pies and happy-hour drink specials all day. Did we mention they have eight big-screen TVs?

Harry's
Feel like watching the game with a little class? Harry's, in the Magnolia hotel downtown, will be showing the game on two big-screen TVs, and will feature a "Peyton Manning special" with 18 percent off draft beers, wines and spirits all day. Feeling hungry? Try the Omaha sliders for $8 or indulge in unlimited free wings with a beverage purchase. Harry's will also be offering $20 unlimited draft beers, and one lucky person will win a $50 bar tab.

Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery
One of Denver's newer breweries, Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery is a great place to watch the game for those who want to avoid the crowds. They'll be serving up craft beer and pizza in their tap room, with plenty of seating available.

Jake's Food & Spirits
When you make a game-day reservation at Jake's Food & Spirits, you'll get the Main Game special -- a pitcher of beer and a basket of wings. Oh, and there are eleven flat-screen HDTVs and a 100" projector screen.

Katie Mullen's
Katie Mullen's will offer happy-hour prices on drinks and food starting at 3 p.m. and running all night.

Can't believe jacksons isn't listed since it's like a sports bar and you used their photo. Are we only advertising bars that need help to be "the best" place to watch the game

You use a picture of Jackson's Denver for your story, but yet you don't list them as a bar to go watch the game and no mention of any sports bars for that matter!

WOW Westword, I love you. That being said, I am VERY disappointed. How are you going to list restaurants with limited space and night clubs in NoDo but you didn't mention the MASSIVE Big Game celebration we're having in the very heart of downtown at Jackson's Denver with 2 giant projectors, bleacher seating, $3 shots every time the Denver Broncos score and live look ins through out the the day from NFL Network. you do realize downtown Denver will be THE place to be when the Broncos win right? For shame... https://www.facebook.com/events/505034009614281/
