Pi pie, a pop-up bar and more on the culinary calendar this weekend
It's 3/14 -- pie day! All three Patxi's locations in metro Denver are celebrating with a $3.14 lunch special: a slice of signature Chicago-style stuffed pizza or hand-pulled thin crust pie, with a choice of salad and a non-alcoholic beverage. The offer is for carry-out only.

The second annual DSTILL celebration continues with classes and workshops. Meanwhile, Downslope Distilling is popping up a tasting room -- Shaken, Drafted & Punched - at The Source today through Sunday for DSTILL; Downslope's Anthony Giovanni will stes behind the bar with a new menu each night curated with McLain Hedges of The Proper Pour. As part of the new weekend culinary series entitled Great Roads to Great Chefs at Table, The Stanley Hotel will be hosting chef Jeff Osaka of Twelve. The event, at The Lodge restaurant at the hotel, is a five-course meal prepared by Osaka, with wine pairings, plus a reception for a very limited group of twenty. LoHi's Inaugural Irish Festival will celebrate all things Irish in a lead-up to St. Patrick's Day, with food, drinks, dancing, games and more for the whole family. The festival will take place at Churchill's Public House, 1560 Boulder Street; tickets are $10 and kids under 12 get in free.

Head up to the mountains when everyone is heading down to catch the last day of the Apres Ski Cocktail Classic. The event will feature everything from hot toddies to parties, seminars, a tasting village and more.
