Guess where I'm eating no animals?

Lori Midson

After several months of eating everything from headcheese to lamb vindaloo (blame it on Best of Denver, people), I took a much-needed break from digesting animals to focus instead on stuffing my gullet with vegetables, and while this restaurant does serve meat dishes, it does a bang-up job of saluting plants. My body thanks you.

Can you guess where I'm eating?

Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to a Guess Where post is entered into a pool -- and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who'll receive an EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants. Read all about EatDenver dining decks here.

Kitchen Next Door in Glendale is so iffy, food and service.

While I'm miffed with Native Foods for always running out of the amazing oatmeal cookie sandwich filled with unbelievably delicious tofu cream, their food is simple, yummy and wholesome. Then there's the WATERMELON FRESCA that tastes like you're drinking a slice of watermelon.

Looks a bit like Axum, but I've only been there once.
