For downtown workers, Golden Pita could be a golden opportunity for a quick lunch that's a decided improvement over fast food. The restaurant just opened; photographer Brandon Marshall stopped in to offer this taste of Golden Pita.

The Knafeh is very good there - Golden Pita offers the Nabulsi version (with cheese) rather than the Osmalieh (cream-filled) one.

Lebnani on South Colorado has a good rendition of Osmalieh knafeh.

Your pic looks like a ghetto attempt at a happy face.

A couple weeks ago I was this restaurant's very first customer! I got a gyro and it was exceptional. I'm picky about middle eastern food and this place is the real deal!

Looks good. Cleopatra on Federal and 104th is also really tasty.

Will check it out. Still worth the drive to Beirut Grill on South Broadway near Swedish Hospital, though. Family owned and food to die for!
