Jammin' Joe's closes Wheat Ridge location

Brandon Marshall.
Metro Denver is down to just one Jammin' Joe's BBQ, the self-proclaimed specialist in "Appalachian barbecue." Just two months ago Joe's had three locations, but now it's just left with the original Jammin' Joe'sat 2600 High Street.

The first Jammin' Joe's moved into the former home of Frank's Kitchen less than a year ago; in March, it opened two additional locations: one on South Broadway in Englewood and one in Wheat Ridge.

But there were problems with the Broadway space, which closed almost as soon as it opened, and now Jammin' Joe's has left the former 7-Eleven where it shared a kitchen, albeit briefly, with another restaurant.

That seems like a pretty aggressive expansion. I've heard it's good 'cue, but three restaurants in the span of one year?

you're right, and we've corrected.

I thought the Wheat Ridge store shared space with 44th Ave. Tavern, which was short-lived & left a few weeks ago.   I am surprised Jammin Joe's would be part of Teller Tap & kitchen....is that correct?  I think the bove article is wrong or at best misleading.
