"A Taste of Art" gets cooking in Boulder tonight

Chris Canales will be serving up artful appetizers tonight in Boulder.
During this weekend's "A Taste of Art" festival, Boulder will explore the intersection of art and food with chef competitions, a food photography exhibit, food-themed films, workshops, performances, exhibits, demonstrations, tastings and more. The festival gets cooking tonight with "Artful Hors d'oeuvre" at the Dairy Center for the Arts.

From 6 to 8 p.m. in the MacMillan Family Lobby at The Dairy, four of Boulder's top chefs -- Kelly Whittaker, chef/owner of Basta; Arik Markus, chef at Zeal; Matt Collier, head chef at The Kitchen; and Chris Canales, head chef at Volta -- will provide artfully prepared appetizers.
