From tofu to chiles relleno, a second helping of Cafe Society, June 22-27
This week in Cafe Society, Gretchen Kurtz visited El Chingon, where the relleno fell on the soft side, but almost everything else rose to the side of delicious. In Chef and Tell, Jordan Wallace of Pizzeria Locale dishes on a particularly bad calzone, studying cooking in Italy and more. Also this week, we started our 100 Favorite Dishes countdown for the Best of Denver 2015, beginning with another kind of chile relleno, an eggroll style, at La Fiesta.

We also counted down the best places for the growing number of Texan transplants to eat some of their home-state favorites, and shared photos of the Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour in Keystone. One of our reporters experienced the World Cup fever and a Yankee invasion of the usually British spot -- British Bulldog -- first hand.
