Let's face it, no one will ever sell Americans on Soccer. We have the NFL, so just leave us out of this one. It's like hockey if the rink was ten times the size and had a bunch more people out there. At least hockey is done under the worst conditions imaginable and on skates. Soccer sucks. I'm watching baseball, like a goddam American.

I won't be watching or following the World Cup.  I actually have a real, genuine, pleasant life.

I don't know if I would go so far to call soccer a sport. 

More of an intramural club for nonathletic girls.
