The IKEA Centennial culinary team will be at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight, as part of the Summer Nights at the Museum Series. The team will be giving three cooking demonstrations on how to cook with kids. Tickets are $12 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers; grab yours here.

TheBigWonderful has announced the three finalists in its Denver Food Challenge -- and you can help cheer on these entrepreneurs at the next installment of the market today in Sustainability Park. Vote for your favorite at the TheBigWonderful; the winner will be announced at the end of thday.

Larimer Square hosts Le Jardin Secret, a farmers' market, every Saturday morning, and today it will also offer one of this summer's Dining Al Fresco evenings, when the block's restaurants extend their patios into the streets for a one-of-a-kind dining experience, complete with happy-hour festivities and live music. Summer is a beautiful time at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and this morning you can take in all that growing splendor while sipping tea, enjoying small bites and learning a little about the history of tea. Summertime Tea in the Garden will take place in the Serene Woodland Mosaic Gardens from 9:30 to 11 a.m. today. Margo Seymour, pastry chef, tea sommelier and owner of The Denver Tea Room, will present a traditional British afternoon tea service while discussing tea, etiquette and the cultures that take tea. Seasoned Chef Cooking School
Denver/ Boulder's Best Chefs Series continues with a class from Jim Pettinger, better known as Biker Jim of Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs. He'll lead students through some of his favorite recipes during this pop-up class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Tuition is $80; for more information, visit theseasonedchef.com.

Feisty Spirits is holding a first anniversary party for its Fort Collins tasting room today, with mini-distillery festival in the parking lot of the tasting room where guests can enjoy cocktails from Feisty Spirits, Black Canyon Distillery, Copper Muse Distillery, K J Wood Distillers and Spirits Hound Distillers. Food and drink will be available for purchase; select distillers will offer free tastings. And the music is all free, with performances by The Seers, Lunde Station and Aspen Hourglass.

The Garden Block, sponsored by Denver Botanic Gardens and the
Downtown Denver Partnership between Champa and Curtis streets on the 16th Street Mall, will be blocked off from bus traffic all day so that everyone can meet in the middle of the street in the ultimate block party. Rialto Cafe's "Breakfast in Bed" will be served buffet-style from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $17 per person, with signature cocktails, champagne and mimosas offered a la carte. The second annual Feed the Future Summer Gala will take place at the Teller Street Art Gallery in Wheat Ridge from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight. The event will feature wine, food, live music and a variety of door prizes, all raising funds for Feed the Future Backpack Program, which provides food items to students in eight local elementary schools.
