President Barack Obama at the Wazee Supper Club last night.
If you're the President of the United States, where would you eat in Denver? After landing here late yesterday, President Barack Obama headed to the Wazee Supper Club for dinner with five citizens who'd sent letters requesting the pleasure of his company, then strolled around LoDo before heading to the Wynkoop Brewing Company, where he met John Hickenlooper for a game of pool. And it sounds like the Commander in Chief more than held his own against Colorado's Governor.

Here's a video of Obama shaking hands and greeting people along 15th Street, including Johnny Ballen, owner of Squeaky Bean(he shows up at 2:40, and gets to tout his restaurant):

Once Obama reached the Wynkoop, which Hickenlooper founded 25 years ago when he was an out-of-work geologist, the President and the Governor headed to the bar and ordered a couple of beers ("possibly IPAs based on the appearance, but the pool could not hear their order," according to the White House pool reporter) and then went to the second floor for a game of pool.

Things started off slow, with Hickenlooper joking, "Let's get the press out of here." And as the reporter made moves to leave, the President really started to sink multiple shots, eventually winning the game. "Did you record that?" he asked the pool reporter.

This morning Obama delivered an invitation-only speech in Cheesman Park, and this afternoon he will be attending a Democratic fundraiser. And in the months leading up to the November election, there's a good chance that Hickenlooper will get a rematch with the President.

You lose all credibility when you have to consistently rely upon BUZZFEED lists as source material.

And Brian your "50 accomplishments" isn't even real. Double check that list, a good number of it hasn't even happened. Health care reform? Never happened we got mandatory insurance. Ended the war? Ask our enemies how they feel about that. Turned around the auto industry? Have you been to Detroit? Reversed Bush torture policies? Have you heard the stories coming from Gitmo? Boosted fuel efficiency standards? How's the price of gas treating you? Reformed banks and got them out of student loan programs? How are those banks doing and student loans aren't a serious national problem at all are they? You want me to keep going? Please pull your head out of the sand!

Obama fans are in fact Bush fans. First election he promises to get rid of the all those crappy Bush policies and did he? Nope. Not only did he resign them but expanded them. Then he ran on health care reform and did he do it? Nope. We got mandatory insurance instead and still pay 3-5 times the amount of the majority of nations for care and medicines. Good job Bush/Obama fans....

I'm trying to think what President didn't look like they passed through a meat grinder by the trailing end of their tenure in office. Clinton, Bush.... They were sprinting for that chopper the last day.

He should have stopped in Natural Remedies to see how well Colorado is leading the charge in legalized cannabis.
