Feel the Bliss

Bliss Salon, located in a red-brick Highland Denver square at 2845 Wyandot Street, stands out in the crowd simply by being where it is, but it doesn’t hurt that Bliss is not only a peaceful women’s hideaway with a green viewpoint, but also one with boutique style and an in-house gallery showcasing local artists. On Saturday June 7, though, the natural joy inherent in the old house (circa 1908) will fly one step further during Bloom in Bliss, a seasonal celebration with artisans and vendors that also raises funds for a local cause.

Vendor wares and services on view include the latest in eco-chic handbags from local designer Vamp Bags, photography by McGrath and Optical Illusion studios, glÿminerals makeup, chunky Drama Queen jewelry and for good measure, a massage therapist, and proceeds benefit the Tara Wellness Group for women living with breast cancer. A metro-Denver organization, Tara provides women on chemotherapy with support through the unkind transition of hair loss by providing haircuts, scalp treatments and customized wigs. Can’t you just feel the good karma radiating?
