Scanning the skies before Obama's acceptance speech

"Look! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Obama Man!"
Our seats for the Barack Obama DNC acceptance speech were also quite close to a platform from which security personnel continuously scanned for trouble both inside and outside the stadium. The view opposite us, which featured heavily armed officers standing on either side of the Denver Broncos' horse mascot, was even more intimidating. Maybe the stadium staff should station them up there during Oakland Raiders games. -- Michael Roberts
