Restoration Weekend drew a cadre of famous conservatives to South Florida this past weekend -- but the Colorado congressman was the one who grabbed the headlines, after he referred to Miami as a "third-world country."

And President Bush has only himself to blame, Tancredo continued, because of his push for immigration reform: "He is going to do what he can to create a place where the idea of America is just that -- an idea."

Just as predictable as Tancredo stealing the GOP's thunder was Governor Jeb Bush's subsequent slap of the Coloradan, which inspired this letter today.
