Yee haw. Boosters may hate Denver's cowtown image, but it sure beats looking like a city snowed under by the challenge of a blizzard.
BTW, the timing of that Stock Show parade collided with the inaugural. And despite the fact that it was officially "Dress Western Day," only three cowboy hats (not counting those weird Colorado State Patrol hats) were spotted in the crowd standing outside the state Capitol. But at least new governor Bill Ritter was in his trademark cowboy boots.
